Busy October

So many birthdays to celebrate and my show at Great Bear Coffee is almost over.  Please visit if you would like to see some of my art.  I'm going to use the next two months to create some new works before I begin school again, so there won't be many new items in my shop until the next year.

Don't forget to check out my Etsy shop too!

We want Mary Poppins, but for Cheap

I will never understand why some families list off requirement after requirement and make no offer to compensate for it.  One family on Care.com posted a 20 hour work week at $5 an hour, not only illegal, but insulting.

This is my job I need to make the money to buy the supplies, I love it, but sometimes I wonder at the insanity of some parents.

Oh No Snow White!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was one of the first movies I saw as a child and it terrified me.  To this day I still cower away from trees near windows at night.

With the child like drawings being destroyed by a tree figure made of wall paper this painting displays the whirlwind of my childhood.  The shock on Snow White's face draws the eye to the mangled crayon flowers.  Bits of pearl tissue paper leads the eye to the branches tearing through more drawings.

The wallpaper, attached, but torn from the yellow wall, covering colorful stencils of animals.  Every bight image destroyed or covered by a foreign hand reaching across the painting.

It's violent, raw, emotional, my childhood through abstract adult  eyes.

Thank you Thomas Kinkade

I would like to thank Thomas Kinkade for his profound inspiration in creating picture perfect cottages for my zombies to walk in.

Thank you.

I can do these as custom paintings too.  Do you want your house to be invaded by zombies?  Let me know at my Etsy, store.

New Store On Etsy

Just opened my new store on Etsy called ADD Anonymous and I'm really excited.

I wanted to open a store for a while now and I'm finally working my butt off and doing it.  If you are on  Etsy please leave me a line, I would love to connect with you.

Follow me, tweet me, look at my art in progress, have fun.

Latest Creation:

This is Rainbow City, a painting inspired by a childhood painting I did in first grade.  I absolutely love it and want to share it with the world.

It is on a 10X30 inch canvas, made with acrylic paint and pastel.  Great to add a splash of color to any wall.
